Since early 2016, RMF has joined with Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), UNFPA, WHO, and GIZ to support urgently needed midwifery education in Nepal. As one of the external development partners for the project, RMF’s specific contributions will include creating a database for the Nepal Nursing Council, providing a full-time international mentor to the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), providing scholarships, and supplying learning materials, equipment, and a skills lab to NAMS. The number of Burundian refugees, many of whom are women and children, "fleeing violence, threats, extrajudicial killings, abduction, torture and persecution" has now surpassed 300,000. On September 1, 2012, Real Medicine Foundation (RMF) conducted a workshop of 44 adolescent girls in the community hall in Bhagyapur Village. Harvard and the Real Medicine Foundation have partnered for an ongoing student outreach course that will support the organization’s HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs in Jhabua, India.

Taking place over an eight week period, this project will allow students to work alongside RMF doctors and volunteers at the Bhil Academy, teaching classes in English and Science and helping to monitor the health of the students.
