Healthcare Implementing Partner for UNHCR at Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

As the UNHCR Healthcare Implementing Partner for Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, RMF provides health services to refugees through health screening of new arrivals, over 30 stationary clinics, a health outreach program, and support of referral points like Yumbe District Hospital.

Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement Project

A UNHCR managed refugee settlement that provides shelter, land, and support for more than 100,000 people, including Ugandan IDPs and refugees from Kenya, DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan.

Mama Kevina Comprehensive Secondary School Project

An orphanage and a boarding school that provides education and care for orphans in Eastern Uganda.

Panyadoli Healthcare Project

RMF provides 4 area health centers with medicines and medical supplies. Additional medical staff (including 2 doctors) and janitorial staff are also sponsored by RMF, improving the capacity and cleanliness of Panyadoli Health Centre III.

Kiryandongo Sports Development Program

The Kiryandongo Sports Program combines Real Medicine Foundation’s on-the-ground knowledge and resources with training and initial assessment from PeacePlayers International and support from Laureus Sport for Good, using sports to bridge divides and create a safe space where young people can form new group identities and learn skills to effectively deal with conflict.

RMF in Uganda
Supporting over 100,000 People
RMF has supported refugees and the Mama Kevina School in Tororo, Uganda since 2008. At the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement alone RMF offers support to over 100,000 people, including access to healthcare, education, and vocational training.
