RMF is proud to announce that Akbar Oedin Arif has been accepted as a participant in the 2008 Harvard Bridge Builders Conference. Klaten, Central Java Indonesia

Several NGOs continue to support recovery efforts in earthquake-affected areas of Central Java. Aid has now progressed to livelihood recovery work. One such source of support is coming from KOMPIP, which has distributed a US$43.000 first endowment to 147 neighborhoods in earthquake-affected areas of six villages in Klaten, Central Java Province.

The six villages which have received support from KOMPIP are: Brangkal, Tirtomarto, Mlese, Sumopuro, Jogonalan, and Kalangan. Each neighborhood has received US$222 to US$555.
