Health Camp in Myagde Rural Municipality

A free health camp was conducted in Changpatan, Myagde municipality-5, Tanahun on September 22, 2018. This camp was organized in collaboration with Physicians for Social Responsibility Nepal (PSRN). PSRN is Nepali organization of medical doctors affiliated with the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW).

A total of 351 patients benefited directly from the camp. 3 consultants, 9 medical officers, and 2 nurses provided their services.

A free health camp was organized in Myagde rural municipality ward no. 5 of Tanahun District. Physicians for Social Responsibility, Student’s Chapter conducted the camp in collaboration with Real Medicine Foundation.

3 consultant physicians and 9 medical officers provided charitable services to the people. 251 people directly benefited from the camp according to Dr. Sandeep Paudel, Chairperson of the organizing institution.

The camp was supported because its objective was a perfect match for the organizational policy of serving people in remote areas where even government agencies are not readily accessible, said Ganesh Shrestha, Program Manager at Real Medicine Foundation, Nepal.

Chairperson of Myagde Rural Municipality Ms. Maya Devi Rana expressed her gratitude towards the organizers of the camp, for the people genuinely benefited from the camp which was at their doorsteps.
