Text of intro to video:

A Japan Relief Benefit took place in Malibu California. Max G, son of Kenny G, and his friend Jordan Seah were inspired to do what they could to help the victims in Japan. They gathered local musicians, most of which attend Malibu High School.

There were also a few "old timers", including Kenny G, MHS band and director Bill Bixler,.The youngest musician was 12 year old Benjamin Krauser, a pianist with incredible talent.

The benefit concert was held at the Malibu Lumber Yard. Once an actual hardware store & lumber yard, this location is now a host to many shops, boutiques, & restaurants. The stores donated 20% of their sales to the fundraiser.

Many local residents came out to support the cause, enjoy an outdoor concert, eat, & shop. Producer Mark Burnett (his son James performed), wife/actress Roma Downey, & actress Lisa Rinna also came out to show their support for these talented local musicians. Lisa and husband actor Harry Hamlin are life long friends with Kenny G and wife Lyndie Benson.

Artist Masha Kartavenkova’s paintings were inspired by her many years in Japan. The proceeds from the sale of her paintings will go to the relief efforts as well.

The talent of these young local musicians is remarkable.Their genuine concern, desire, and efforts to help the victims in Japan will hopefully be an inspiration to others.

All proceeds from the fundraiser went to Real Medicine Foundation. The money that is donated to this organization goes directly to their relief efforts, an astounding 92%
