Team Athletes for Real Medicine completed its second training run of the season last Sunday, and we’ll be doing another one this coming Sunday, so join us!
Read on for more details about our last run…
Post-Run Recap
8 AM: Clad in our Athletes for Real Medicine training shirts, we met at Palisades Park in Santa Monica, CA. It was stormy the night before, so we were all prepared for a cold and rainy morning run. However, the skies were big and blue, the air fresh and chilled. The winds had died down and the running conditions were perfect.
8:15 AM: We ran North along the beach bike path, paralleling PCH. The ocean, choppy and dark, provided a spectacular view for our 6.2 mile run.
9 AM: After the run, we stretched out in the park and enjoyed the warmth of the sun.
9:15AM : Energized and inspired, we headed our separate ways to enjoy the rest of our Sunday.
