RMF Provides Food Security
387 Children Benefit
Since RMF started supporting the Precious Children’s Centre by funding the purchase food, the health status of the children has improved, and now they can stay at the center and attend class. More vulnerable children are attending school and seeking educational opportunities because they will also receive meals. The children at Precious Children’s Centre are no longer running away from school due to hunger. Because the children have enough to eat, they are staying in school and are able to concentrate on studying.
Due to RMF’s support of the Precious Children’s Centre, more children have been enrolled, and there are now 387 children benefitting from primary education and regular meals the school.

Due to savings accumulated as a result of the food provided by RMF, the school has been able to buy more furniture, and children have plenty of space in their classrooms
Steady Financial Support Helps Centre Save Money
Walls Painted and Decorated
Because RMF is providing financial support for the purchase of food, the Precious Children’s Centre has been able to save money in order to renovate some of the buildings. During this reporting period, the walls were painted and decorated with beautiful and educational images which are engaging to the students.

Founded by Kawempe Division native and OPM officer Robert Baryamwesiga in 2011, the Precious Children’s Centre provides food, shelter, rehabilitation, and primary education to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and former street children. Real Medicine Foundation began supporting the Precious Children’s Centre in 2015, providing funds for nutritious food, which has improved the children’s health and concentration and stabilized operations at the Precious Children’s Centre.
