Jeffrey Weir MA LCMHC
Jeffrey Weir, MA LCMHC, is a consultant and psychotherapist specializing in traumatic stress in individuals and organizations. He has worked extensively in the field of trauma including the September 11 attacks in New York and Hurricane Katrina in Dallas, Memphis and Mississippi. He has worked with school systems, governmental agencies and private corporations in dealing with the aftermath of crisis and disaster. He is an experienced trainer, facilitator and speaker and has worked throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Jeffrey lives in New Hampshire where he also has a private psychotherapy practice specializing in the treatment of trauma and has extensive training and experience in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). He was a treating clinician in one of the largest randomized controlled studies comparing EMDR to Fluoxetine in the treatment of PTSD.
