Odongo Bonny Oryem

M&E Coordinator, South Sudan

Odongo Bonny Oryem is RMF’s M&E Coordinator, South Sudan. Bonny is a South Sudanese national who grew up and studied in Uganda from 1989 to 2013, but is currently back home in South Sudan to serve the new nation. He lives in Juba.

Bonny completed a 3-year course in clinical medicine and community health at Fortportal School Of Clinical Officers in Uganda in 2008; thereafter he did his clinical attachment in Nsambya Mission Hospital in Kampala for one year where he gained more experience in clinical practice. In 2010, Bonny joined Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda and successfully completed a 3-year course in Public Health Science with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2013.

Bonny has worked with several organizations such as ACF International as Nutrition Field Coordinator, and Health Pooled Fund (HPF) as Health Officer/Primary Healthcare Supervisor for Magwi County in Eastern Equatoria State.

Bonny’s hobbies are watching soccer, reading medical journals and watching news.
