
Zenus Byomugisha
Pharmacy Technician
Zenus Byomugisha is RMF’s Pharmacy Technician at Panyadoli Healthy Centre III. He holds a higher diploma in pharmacy from Mulango Paramedical School, which has been renamed as the Uganda Institute of Allied Health and Management Sciences, Mulago (UIAHMS). He has worked in Nsambya Hospital in Kampala, Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala, and Holy Innocent Children’s Hospital (HICH) in Mbarara. In all of these settings, Zenus worked as a pharmacy assistant entrusted with tasks such as inventory and control. In order to widen his experience in pharmacy work, Zenus decided to take on employment with Olive Pharmaceuticals LTD in Mbarara, which is commercial-oriented. Here he was in charge of dispensing, inventory, stock taking and control, store management, etc. Moved by passion to get involved in humanitarian work, Zenus could not forego an opportunity of joining RMF’s team, which offered an opportunity to work with refugees in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. As RMF’s pharmacy technician, Zenus leads the medical team in establishing and maintaining a pharmacy at Panyadoli Health Centre III.
Zenus has a good command of the English language and other East African languages such as Kiswahili and Runyakitara. During his free time he likes playing with children, doing charity work, reading, researching, and interacting with friends.
