Sophiana Kapuchu
Senior Data Clerk
Sophiana Kapuchu is RMF’s Senior Medical Data Clerk based at the Panyadoli Health Centre III in the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. Sophiana possesses a number of qualifications, including a diploma in records and archive management from the Uganda Information Management Institute, a certificate in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) from Virika Hospital Fort Portal, and a certificate in Routine Testing and Counseling (RTC).
After training, Sophiana secured employment at the Bwera Regional Hospital as a records officer, where she worked for 10 years until she left to join RMF. During her employment at the Bwera Regional Hospital, Sophiana was promoted to the level of Head of Records Department in charge of 18 health centers under Bwera Hospital. She headed a team of over 40 records assistants in the Bukonzo constituency and gained valuable management experience.
In addition to English, Sophiana speaks a number of languages used in East Africa, which include Kiswahili, Lukonzo, and Runyakitara.
