Rashid Anison Kawawa

Community Health Assistant

Rashid Anison Kawawa is a 39-year-old Ugandan national working with RMF as a Community Health Assistant in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement. He holds a Diploma in Public Management and Administration from Multitech Business School, a Certificate in National HIV/AIDS Counseling from Gulu University, and a Certificate in Economic Monitoring and Transformation from the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi. Prior to joining RMF’s team, Rashid worked with Action Against Hunger (ACF) as an enumerator and Medical Teams International (MTI) as an HIV/AIDS counselor. As an RMF Community Health Assistant, he is now deployed at Yoyo Health Centre III.

Rashid’s hobbies include reading newspapers, watching football (American soccer), athletics, watching movies, and field work, among others. Rashid is fluent in English, Arabic, Kiswahili, Lugbara, Kakwa, and Madi.
