Enrolled Midwife
Miriam attended Arua Hill Primary School and completed her Ordinary Level studies at Arua Islamic Secondary School in 2012. She then attended Anne Nehma Memorial International Health Science Institute in Maracha and obtained a Certificate in Enrolled Midwifery in 2016. After completing her training, Miriam secured her first employment as a midwife with Masjid Noor Health Centre III in Arua Municipality (May to December 2016). She later joined Munguchi Medical Center with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) until July 2017, when MSF phased out its operations and Miriam joined Real Medicine Foundation as an Enrolled Midwife in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement.
Miriam enjoys making friends, watching television, and listening to music. She is fluent in Lugbara, English, Kiswahili, Arabic, and Nubi.
