Julius Ovona is an RMF Laboratory Assistant at the Panyadoli Health Centre III in Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement. After completing his secondary education, Ovona studied at the St. Martin Institute of Health Sciences Munteme, where he obtained a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Techniques. After completing his studies, Ovona worked at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital as a laboratory assistant until he joined RMF’s team.
Ovona likes reading medical journals during his free time, and he is very passionate about laboratory work. His ambition is to take his career to greater heights. In addition to English, Ovona speaks Alur (his mother tongue), Acholi, Lunyoro, and Lugungu.
