Enock Sengonze MA

Program Development Officer, Uganda

Enock holds a Master of Arts in Rural Development from Makerere University’s Faculty of Social Sciences. He joined Real Medicine Foundation’s team in 2017 as a Community Health Officer based in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, and today he is the Program Development Officer based at RMF Uganda’s head office in Kampala. Before joining RMF, Enock was a community officer in charge of WASH and livelihood at the Nsamizi-UNHCR project in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, after which he volunteered with TASO Mulago as an HIV/AIDS counselor. He has written academic articles on refugee welfare in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, focusing on HIV/AIDS, gender equality, and social inclusion in a study conducted during 2019.

Enock is a self-motivated, results-oriented team player from a humble background, ready to take on the challenges and opportunities of his profession. He values respecting other people regardless of status, sex, race, nationality, or income level. Ready to work in any country, under pressure with little or no supervision, Enock exercises a high level of confidentiality and integrity while helping to build stakeholder engagement. He is passionate about humanitarian work.
