
Dr. Leonard Oburu
Medical Officer
Dr. Leonard Oburu is the Medical Officer at World Children’s Fund Mama Kevina Comprehensive Secondary School, Tororo. He holds a diploma in medicine from Buhinga School of Clinical Officers in Fort Portal, Uganda. Dr. Oburu has worked at Tororo Hospital and Adrian Medical Center in Tororo. He trained at the Center for Disease Control, Entebbe on HIV comprehensiveness; on blood transfusion at Nakasero Blood Bank in Kampala; and on management of childhood illnesses with the Uganda Ministry of Health. Dr. Oburu speaks English, Dhopadhola, Kiswahili, and Luganda. He enjoys watching football and reading literature on clinical matters, and outings as a way of relaxing, and also engages in business and farming.
