Beatrace Amoit
Nursing Officer
Beatrace holds a Diploma in General Nursing (DNE) and a Certificate in Comprehensive Nursing (CN), awarded by the Islamic University in Uganda and the International Institute of Health Science respectively. In addition, Beatrace has attended short training courses conducted by the Makerere College of Health Sciences, receiving certificates in Comprehensive Management of HIV/AIDS and Good Clinical Practice in Research Practice (GCP). Beatrace has worked as a research nurse with Global Health Uganda in Mulago National Hospital’s sickle cell clinic. The project involved research on hydro urea treatment. As a nurse and supervisor at the Health Centre II, Beatrace also worked on a Sensitization Decentralized Sustainability (SDS) program in collaboration with the local government in Busia.
Beatrace is passionate about nursing and always willing to serve as her contribution to the community. She speaks Kiswahili, Ateso, Jopadhola, and Luganda.
