Rubina Mumtaz Magsi DDS, MPH

Country Director, Pakistan

Rubina has been the Country Director of RMF Pakistan since its inception in 2006. Born in Nairobi, Kenya to immigrant Pakistani parents, she moved to Pakistan after high school and graduated with honors, cum laude, from Khyber College of Dentistry, Peshawar. With nearly 20 years of experience tucked under her belt, Rubina wears many hats. Her passion for women’s health rights led to an MPH majoring in Family and Community Health from the Harvard School of Public Health, where her thesis was on oral health of homeless women in Boston. Rubina has held leadership roles in the Pakistan Dental Association and led the technocrat team that set up the National Task Force on Oral Health in the Federal Ministry of Health, Islamabad.

On the academic platform, she lectures on a visiting basis to both undergrad and post-graduate classes of the Community Dentistry Department of Islamabad Medical and Dental College.
