
Bina Kumari Bharati
Auxiliary Nurse Midwife
Bina Kumari Bharati is from the Sindhupalchok district of Nepal, and she is an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) with Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) training. Since 2011, Bina has been working as an ANM at local government health posts: Sindhukot Health Post, Banskharka Health Post, and Dubarchaur Health Post in Sindhupalchok district. She also has a teaching license from the Teacher Service Commission (TSC). Before joining RMF’s team, Bina was Assistant Health Post In-charge at Dubarchaur Health Post. Her work in the local health post included handling, treating, and counseling patients.
Bina is now placed at a Nepal Children’s Organization (NCO) home as a resident nurse and an integral part of the health support provided by RMF in Nepal. She is responsible for providing daily health and nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and children with special needs. Bina will also help our other nurses to build the capacity of NCO’s caregivers and housemothers by devising training materials and conducting training sessions for effective service delivery.
