
Rose Boisabi Masega
Nutrition Project Coordinator, Kenya
Rose attended Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in Lodwar, Kenya, where she completed her Diploma in Community Health Nutrition in 2016. After finishing her studies, she interned at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret and later joined Lodwar County & Referral Hospital (LCRH) as a volunteer in the Comprehensive Care Clinic (CCC) until the end of October 2016. She is now RMF Kenya’s Nutrition Project Coordinator, based at LCRH.
Rose’s responsibilities include day-to-day nutrition project coordination, overseeing the cleanliness of all wards, and supporting the provision of medications and equipment for all wards, together with RMF’s Project Coordinator. Rose’s heart beats for malnourished children; her dream and commitment is to ensure zero malnutrition cases in Turkana County. Besides nutrition, she is also knowledgeable in HIV testing and counseling (HTC), computer skills, and communication. Currently, Rose is planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and HIV at Moi University in Eldoret.
Rose speaks English, Kiswahili, and Ekegusii. She loves participating in community service activities, as well as education, team building, scriptwriting, and swimming.
