Hot in Hollywood began in early 2006 when a group of industry professionals came together to raise awareness and money that supports HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment specifically through local charity organizations which include Real Medicine. The event, which gained remarkable momentum with only six months of planning, brought celebrities together for a cause that was near and dear to their hearts and allowed them to open up their checkbooks as well as their minds and perform for a theater full of “Hollywood’s finest,” who were also there to offer their support. It wasn’t about gowns, politics, or egos. It was about genuine support and partying in a way that felt unlike any other Hollywood fundraising experience. Now in its third year, Hot in Hollywood continues to set the benchmark for unique and exciting, Hollywood charity benefits and has raised more than $300,000 in support.”
