Felix Omodi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Management from Nkumba University, Uganda and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Project Administration from the Uganda Management Institute. He has earned additional certification in several areas, including project cycle management and administrative law.
In his 28-year career dedicated to public health, Felix has held titles such as Country Director, Development Planner, and Program Manager, working with Medical Teams International (MTI) and UN organizations (UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, HUMEDICA), The Carter Center Global 2000, River Blindness Foundation, and World Vision International, among others. During this time, Felix worked with a broad range of professionals in local government, national government, and international organizations. While working with The Carter Center Global 2000, Felix participated in efforts that led to the eradication of guinea worm in Uganda. The crisis in northern Uganda then drew Felix into emergency medical work, and from 2004 to 2017, he led a team of 1,340 strong, which along with hundreds of international volunteer doctors, provided timely medical attention to some 2.4 million IDPs and refugees.
In 2017, Felix joined RMF’s team as Director, Global Relations. He is based at RMF Uganda’s headquarters in Kampala, using his years of expertise to support our Ugandan and global teams.
